Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) definitely isn’t done with Rome because Emily in Paris has been renewed for a fifth season.

“We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris!” creator Darren Star tells Tudum.

Season 4 of the series saw the ex-pat spark up a romance with a handsome Italian fashion scion and then move into an Italian apartment to open a Rome office for Agence Grateau. But that doesn’t mean the name of the show is changing. “Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome,” says Star. “It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris, but she’s going to have a presence in Rome.”

Sending Emily to Italy to open up a new office was borne out of Star’s desire to “stay ahead of the audience and take them to unexpected places,” and prove “the show has the ability to have a bigger footprint.”

Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte to Make West End Debuts in Bess Wohl’s Barcelona

PLAYBILL – Screen stars Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte will make their West End debuts in Bess Wohl’s Barcelona later this year.

Directed by Lynette Linton, the seductive thriller will play the Duke of York’s Theatre for a strictly limited 12-week run, between October 21 and January 11, 2025.

Collins (Emily in Paris, Mank, To The Bone) and Álvaro Morte (Money Heist, Wheel of Time, Immaculate) will star in the U.K. premiere of the two-hander, which has been in development since 2013. Said Collins, “It has been a childhood dream of mind to perform in the West End and I’m hugely excited to make my stage debut in Bess’ exciting play, Barcelona. Working with this team has truly been a gift and I cannot wait for audiences to be taken on a thrilling journey as the play unravels. I knew the moment I finished reading the script, I had to play Irene.”

Morte added, “The London theatre scene is a vibrant and exhilarating canvas for fresh, groundbreaking work. I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of this captivating new play, marking my West End debut. I’m looking forward to bringing Barcelona to life and sharing it with audiences.”

Lily Joins “MaXXXine”

‘MaXXXine’ Adds Lily Collins, Kevin Bacon, Michelle Monaghan, Giancarlo Esposito, Halsey & More To Cast

DEADLINE – Ti West has locked in an all-star cast for his Mia Goth-led A24 horror pic MaXXXine, with Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.), Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (Nanny), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Halsey (Americana), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul) and Kevin Bacon (City on a Hill) closing deals for roles.

MaXXXine is the third title in A24‘s first major horror franchise, on the heels of West’s films X and Pearl, both of which were released to much acclaim last year. The ’70s-set X had Goth pulling double duty as Maxine, who sees her pornography-shooting friends violently murdered in Texas, and one of their elderly assailants, Pearl. The latter film, set in 1918, meanwhile, served up an origin story for the latter villain character.

MaXXXine reverses the franchise’s trajectory through time to pick with Maxine after the violent events of X, as their sole survivor continues her journey towards fame, setting out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles. A24, Jacob Jaffke, West, Goth, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss will produce the film, which heads into production this month.

Collins is an Emmy- and two-time Golden Globe nominee best known for exec producing and starring in the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris, which returned for its third season in December. She prior to that produced and starred in Charlie McDowell’s Netflix thriller Windfall with Jason Segel and Jesse Plemons and has also been seen, in recent years, in films like David Fincher’s Mank. She’s currently set to exec produce and star in the series The Accomplice, based on Lisa Lutz’s same-name novel, which is in development at Amazon.

Lily to Star in “Razzlekhan”

Lily Collins To Star In ‘Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street’ True-Crime Limited Series In Works At Hulu

DEADLINEEXCLUSIVE: The wild story of crypto couple Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein and Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan is headed to the screen. Hulu is in early development on the limited series Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street, from Searchlight Television. Lily Collins (Emily In Paris) is set to star as Morgan in the project, which she is producing with Charlie McDowell, who is slated to direct, and Alex Orlovsky.

The trio also produced Windfall, directed by McDowell with Collins starring opposite Jesse Plemons and Jason Segel. The film was released earlier this year on Netflix.

Based on the New York magazine article “The Many Lives of Crypto’s Most Notorious Couple,” the series focuses on Lichtenstein and Morgan, tipped to be either the masterminds behind one of the largest heists in history or a pair of hapless wannabe entrepreneurs who somehow stumbled onto a hard drive containing $3.6 billion in Bitcoin stolen from the Finex exchange.

The title of the series, Razzlekhan, comes from Morgan’s alter ego as a YouTube rapper.

Described as a character study, a love story and crime thriller told with humor and honesty, the series will follow Heather and Ilya as they struggle with their relationship, the pressures of sitting on stolen crypto with no easy way to make it liquid, and their aspirations in the fishbowl of the NYC tech/media world. The show will be told through the eyes of the couple as well as hackers, bankers, law enforcement agents and friends.

Scoop Wasserstein is executive producing for New York Magazine/Vox Media Studios.

Lichtenstein and Morgan were arrested in February and charged with attempting to launder $4.5 billion in stolen bitcoin,  $3.6B of which has been seized by authorities. The couple, who faces up to 25 years in prison, have been in talks with prosecutors on a plea deal.

Collins headlines Netflix’s hit Emily in Paris, which is returning for a third season later this year. She was last seen on the big screen in David Fincher’s Oscar-nominated film Mank. She is repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment, Definition Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
